Nice dull copper color, foamy off-white head with a little length to it, some lace and then....A piney hop aroma, substantial sweet caramel malt, slightly citric. The taste is hop hit and sturdy malt behind, nice herbal bitter finish. Nicely put together, medium bodied and crisp. The hops don't overwhelm the other flavors, there's plenty of malt, and the ending bites a little to get you ready for the next sip. Pretty nice, nothing extraordinary, but very drinkable.

The Hop Mountain from Old Dominion is a GOOD pale ale. This pale ale is more English style leaning...but very tasty. The beer poured a nic clear amber with thin white head that is leaving a fine lace. The acent carries fresh hop with a slight citrus flare. The taste is a nicely balanced beer between sweet malt and bitter, with slight citrus, hop. The mouthfeel is between light and medoum body with good carbonation. Overall this is a solid offering from old dominion....nice job!

A - Thin white head that dissipated quickly. Amber orange in color, slightly cloudy

S - Super hoppy and piney aroma, with slight citrus notes

T - Great hoppy bitterness and strong grapefruit flavor followed by a very subtle malty sweetness, leaves grapefruit after taste

M - Medium-light in body, very fine carbonation

O - In between a pale ale and an IPA. Great if you're looking for a hoppy beer but don't want the intensity of an IPA
