Good solid lager (more Amber than pale)

Brownish gold in the glass with a thin lacy head.
A hoppy smell is what you first notice. Taste is a even, balanced lager with some, not a lot, of depth. There is some spice to the malt side of things, just enough to keep you interested. Medium carbonation. Clean finish.
Very enjoyable beer, quite comparable to Yeungling.

Clear light golden hue. Creamy, dense and well retained white lead leaves Belgian lace. The aroma is a combination of an herbal Hersbucker hop nose and smooth bready malt. Flavorwise, hop bitterness upfront gives way to pleasantly grainy sweetness, while lightly toasty grain notes abound. Excellent balance of malt sweetness and hop bitterness. Finishes clean, slightly dry w/ quickly fading basemalt breadiness. Excellent example of the style. Old Dominion really should increase their distribution!
