Pours an orange ish color with a soapy froth and plenty of lace. Aroma of citrus, tangerine, granola and pineapple. In the taste, grapefruit and pine flavor from serious hop additions, to go along with a sweeter pale malt backing. Fair coarse leafy bitterness and a warming sensation round out the brew. Medium bodied, a bit on the thin side, but smooth and very drinkable. Not a bad imperial ipa.

A: poured from a 12 oz bottle into a clear plastic hotel cup, orange amber colored with a white head that lingers leaving good lacing, clear

S: earthy pine resin smells, quite sweet, honey, brown sugar, slight citrus

T: fruity bubblegum flavors, herbal, basil, grassy, really odd

M: medium to full, good carbonation

O: flavor profile is strange

Pours a clear golden copper with a dense, frothy cream head that lingers.

Aroma is resiny, with thick caramel malt forming the backbone. There's a muted grapefruit underlying character. Toasted, bready notes accent the profile.

Sweet caramel malt, on the cloying side, finishes resiny and bitter. There are accents of citrus pith. Toasted, bready notes offer relief from sweetness.

Body is slick and fairly full, with moderate carbonation, a bit of hop astringency, and moderate alcohol warmth.

Rich, overly sweet malt, bitter hops to counter, but the sweetness is overwhelming. Fairly boozy and resiny.
