A- pinkish orange with huge chunks of thick yeast sediment and a fluffy white head. The sediment is unappealing in this style and I ended up transferring glasses to remove most of it.

S- grainy pilsner, a touch of sulfur, light green apple and just a little fruitiness that isn't distinctly cherry.

T/M- pretty laid back and mellow flavor with some doughy grain and yeasty components giving a pizza crust character with a finish that's moderately full, syrupy and very lightly sweet and sour leaving a very light cherry taste in the finish.

O- I feel like I spent the entirety of this beer searching for cherry beyond the yeast clumps and doughy pilsner taste. Comes out as a fairly thick, moderately sweet lager. Not bad but not good for a fruit beer.

12 ounce bottle poured into a pint glass

Appearance: Pours a beautiful dark-straw, slightly light amber color with reddish/pink highlights, topped by two fingers of off-white head, speckled with reddish/pink highlights. The head lasts forever, too, leaving an excellent lacing coating the glass as its drunk. Beautiful looking beer!

Aroma: Fruit! Cherry and plums, followed by yeast and maybe hits of oatmeal or biscuits. But definitely fruit!

Taste: Woe, nice balance of the traditional lager notes of yeast, malt, biscuits, subtle hops, that’s then accented by, not overpowered by the fruitiness of the cherry and plums, which gives a very slight, but pleasant sour note in the back of the throat. Delicious!

Mouthfeel: Very effervescent and palate cleansing. Excellent carbonation that mixes well with the fruit to make the beer extremely bright and extremely refreshing. This is an excellent summer beer!

Overall: I really liked this beer. It’s very refreshing with a superb balance between the fruitiness of the cherry and the breadiness/buscuitiness of the lager. I’m going to have to keep some more of this on hand.

An Orange pinkish color with a pink tinted head. Dry grain and cherries on the nose. Light crisp bubbly body. Sweet grains with a touch of cherry flavor. A little sour on the back end. Drinkable but was hoping for something a bit brighter in flavor and the sourness is kinda killing it for me. A touch of some sort of bite on the back end too, possibly a small touch of alcohol?

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a light brown color with pinkish hues and a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, some cherries, a touch of grains. Taste is also rather mild, grains, light cherry, a touch of malts. Feels light in the mouth and overall this is a mediocre beer.

Poured from the bottle into a pilsner style glass.

Out of the bottle this has a hint of red almost pink, hits and gives a reddish orange body color, a little opaque, but with lots of cola bubble rising carbonation. Head is only about a finger, but manages a good half finger puck, off white, and picking up a lot of the body color with some very light orange hue.

Nose is a basic malt grain, kind of thick and dough like. Not very cherry or even fruity smelling. Clean. But honestly there is not really much going on here, it's quite subdued.

Well palate really comes quite a surprise. First hit on the palate is a nice cherry hint, with a little bit of light malt. However, the sweetness is really toned down, with no sourness and gives a simple little push towards the malts. The aftertatse really gives some malt depth and bakery bread feeling, but with just a hint of fruit. It's really nicely balanced, and I get a nice malt bakery action and the fruit together nicely on the finish. Lightly carbonated but with just a hint of crispness. A nice lip coating mild honey feeling as well.

I like the fruit angle on this, it's not overpowering, not sickly sweet or sour, it's just right and it works well with the malt density for this lager. They did a good job on this one, I think I am going to be drinking this beer often this Spring.
