Appears a golden orange apricot hue with a bright white creamy healthy sized head that leaves annular rings of lacing between sips. Aromatics are sweet candi like apricot jam along with a light bready characteristic to it, low on hops but very nice would classify as a dessert beer for myself. This style of beer fruit wheat, usually rubs me the wrong way but this one I am definitely enjoying the apricot flavor is not overbearing but it glides with a tangy citrusy zing and just blends well together very nice beer kicks Pyramid Hefeweizen's ass. Touch of hops and keeps it sweet with a sour edge from the citrus like tones not cloying in anyway, the mouthfeel is medium and the carbonation is just right can't complain here. Drinkability not bad not a session brew but a nice treat wasn't expecting much here, es muy bueno.

Look: Cloudy orange with a spritzy and quite loud off-white head that slowly settles to a lid, leaving decent lacing behind
Aroma: Apricots and lots of them – flesh and skin, a little earthiness, and some light bready notes
Taste: Wheat malt and apricot flesh in unison get things going and as the initial hit fades, some tart apricot skin notes creep in. A little earthiness comes into play in the middle and closes with more apricots and wheat bread notes
Mouthfeel: Somewhat light but still decently full, highly carbonated, and a little sharpness and astringency on the finish
Overall: A decent enough fruit beer. I don’t think I’ve had one of these for almost 15 years and didn’t know they still made it so had to revisit after that long. Good amount and depth of apricot flavor/aroma and bonus points for not tasting artificial. The malt is somewhat lacking and I think they could turn the carbonation down a bit but overall a good showcase of apricots

L: Deep amber with red tint, cloudy with an off white head.

S: Apricot with hints of green apple, bright and sweet backed up by lighter wheat. Raspberry notes as well.

T: Apricot is first but raspberry is rather prominent. Nose is much the same. What on the finish.

F: Very easy drinking and well carbonated. Sort of slick.

Bottle poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewing Co pint glass

A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy tan head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little spotty lacing.

S: Fruity, ripe apricot, floral, yeasty, definitely some wheat, bready malt, and caramel honey sweetness.

T: Ripe stone fruit, plenty of apricot (obviously), plus some hints of peach and mango, underlying floral notes, a touch of spice, yeasty, a little wheat twang, bready malt, and some caramel honey sweetness.

M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, kinda chewy.

O: I used to love this one back in the day, but I'll admit it's been a while since the last time I've had it. Still a very enjoyable fruit beer that I wouldn't mind drinking a little more often.

Poured into bechers, regular pint glasses, nonics and can glasses. I've had this beer at least fifty times in life. Why? Because it's easily found and has very little flaws to it. This easy drinking fruit beer done up with some sort of ale yeast that never truly shows its aromatics or flavors as the "apricot" sweetness is the bearer of the torch of the flavor then pervades the aftertaste in the same sense. Decent enough mouthfeel never straying from too far across any unbearable harshness or cloying features, (honestly, it's just 'there' in the feel), not sure what else to say other than if I was offered this at a party or other like venue, I wouldn't deny this. However, it's not exactly one I'd seek out. I can name more than enough other fruit styled beers I would love to have over this.

One of my favourites. Of all the fruit beers, this is one of the smoother that's not too overpowering. Clean, crisp taste. Great when it's cold. It won't strike you as too tart or sour. I enjoy apricots, and enjoy this beer even more.

It's a fruit ale, smooth and easy to drink but not the feel of a real beer. More a fruity fun drink, though most pyramid beers are ok
