[Original rating 2012-08-31] Pours clear reddish brown with a thick tan head that lasts a while and leaves good lacing. Aroma is roasted malt and caramel. Taste is pretty much the same. The finish has a little bitter hops with some sweetness, reminds me a bit of cider. A good octoberfest.

Bottle from Brewforia, medium amber with nice high creamy head. Malt dominates the aroma and taste, as is the norm for the style. Some nutty remnants linger on the palate. Decent festbier from the NW.

Pours a light coppery color with off-white head. Caramel malt on the mose, not much else; follows onto the palate. Light bodied. Finishes one dimensional. Good, but average.

No pyramid hating here. From a bomber, and pours a burnt reddish copper color and pillow head that lingers until last sip. Taste is malty, slight spice, toffee, and a hint of bitterness. Larger yeast is welcomed and appreciated in this beer. Good beer and great price.
