Turbid gold, ample head. Smells earthy and citrusy. Tastes of sweet orange at first, leading to a sweet malty midpalate, ending with a citrus rind bitterness. Moderate body and fine carbonation allow the beer sparkle on the palate. I am rather enjoying this juicy IPA, poured from a .33l bottle I brought home from the Tilquin British Beer Festival in May.

Turbid bronze with clingy white. 4
Resin, greenery, and fruit puree - dank! 4
Sold angel food cake malt than sugared grapefruit, passion fruit, peachy esters, some rough Comet grass, and an easy finish. 4.5
Soft, round, medium. 4
Citra, Chinook, Comet, Mosaic
Scary deep nose. And soft body - starts sly. Then hops come crashing in with shifting fruit. Comet plays the wild card here against every other turbid new school DIPA. Real talent going on; I get the fuss. 4.5

330ml bottled served in a tulip. Bottled 010416 OCT16 indicated on the label. Pours a hazy burnt orange with a rocky, 1.5 inch bright white head that eventually settles into a frothy slick. Delicates swaths of lacing are present during the tasting. Nose is dank (think damp basement), albeit not unpleasant, with the addition of bright tangerine notes and rind. Taste is somewhat consistent with nose; however, less dank than suggested by the nose and a bit more watered down. Citrus has a slight candied quality to it and a hint of spice. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body (but closer to light) with a carbonation that falls shy of lively with a pleasant acidity. Overall, a pretty tasty DIPA - could use a little more body; however, it's quite pleasant.

Color: amber, orange, cloudy. Head yellowish, high and dense, durable medium.
Aroma: forest with lots of resin, fruits, and citrus tropics.
Taste: the richness of flavor was repeated, it is delicious, but a little soap.
Gentian: intense, dry, fruity, medium saturation, fit. Alcohol fantastic hidden.

Muddy, hazy, orange-brown appearance. Head dissipated quickly (might be to do with the glass). Heavily perfumed. Mouth-feel is more carbonated than I was expecting. Both aroma and taste are the usual tropical melange of pineapple, mango, papaya, etc., and the light, prickly mouth-feel gives the impression of a juice diluted with sparkling water. Very slight alcohol burn on the finish. Not very bitter. Well balanced.
Very nice, though probably better on tap.

Bottle from realeale.com in Twickenham. Pours a hazy light orange/dark golden colour with a thick head. Basically present in the smell and taste is a ton of hoppy tropical sunshine. Pineapple, lemon, grapefruit, mango etc. Propped up with a perfectly judged level of malt, crisp finishing but soft and laid-back otherwise. Very chilled out beer. No alcohol burn (surprising as it's so fresh), and no hop blast either, but a real fresh, juicy quality to it. Very nice.

330ml bottle bought from Lighthouse Wines, Belfast
Poured a bright hazy golden yellow colour. White head poured fairly thick and foamy with a meringue like topping then faded slowly to good covering with thick edging... barely any carbonation bubbles... lots of sticky lacing...
Aroma is stunning - smells like alcoholic Lilt. Lots of juicy mouth watering tropical fruit (pineapple, grapefruit, oranges, mangoes), light sweet biscuity malts, some bready notes, light honey, light spice from the yeast, citrus and grassy hops, light pine, floral notes, talcum powder traces...
Taste is pretty similar to the aroma with lots of tropical and bitter fruits (grapefruit, bitter orange, mangoes, passionfruit), nice and citrus hop bitterness balanced by light malty sweetness, chalky traces, light metallic notes, quite biscuity, just the slightest hint of the 9% alcohol...
M&D - Smooth initially with a little sharpness underneath... medium bodied... this is dangerously drinkable at 9% as the alcohol is pretty well hidden
Overall - Another outstanding DIPA from Cloudwater. Highly recommended...
