Bottle from trade.

Pours a pale gold spritzy lager with a smallish cap in the glass. Cap retention not great but does lace the glass.

Faint nose on this, some boiled grains not much else.

Tastes pretty much like it smells, kind of bland, thin malts, clean hops show in the finish, clean but bland,

not what I look for in a pilsner.

Medium gold in colour with lots of carbonation. Some sulfur aromas mixed in with a bit of malt. The dominant flavor is the Fort Garry house malt, which has a cookie dough quality to it (and is also all wrong for the style). There’s a strange somewhat bittering green quality as well, which doesn’t really seem like hops. The mouthfeel is also really wrong... far too cloying with no dry, crisp pilsner finish. Except for the colour, this beer is not even close to what a Czech style pilsner should be. Would it kill these guys to use some aroma hops?

Straw yellow and clear. Couldn't get head out of it at all, nothing there by the time I sat down, not even a ring. Trying for a smell is hard work. The only hint of aroma I can find reminds me of an English Brown Ale. What that aroma is? I can't smell enough to put my finger on it.

Ah, well, I'm almost surprised that it has some flavour to it. A mild citrus front leading to a dry hop finish. More dry than bitter. It's fairly average, the taste is neither nice nor offensive.

Mouthfeel is thin, and the carbonation feels rough. I don't like to keep this beer in my mouth too long, and the dryness in the finish makes swallowing less pleasant than it should be.

Not good, I won't look for this beer again.

I'll say it right from the start, this is a below average pilsner. Poured from a 341 ml brown bottle, it's a pale watery-looking straw colour, decent carbonation, but the head is a small burst of white bubbles that falls back almost immediately. Aroma is of faint biscuity malt. There is no real discernable flavour to be found, so I had to dock it points for that, especially because the stuff is so watery. It's drinkable enough, but there's not enough there to make me want to reach for another.
