Pours a clear golden-orange with a foamy orange-tan head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, earth, citrus zest, and herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with earth and herbal hop flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a fairly earth and herbal hop forward presence all around.

12 fl oz bottle: badged as 'Yosemite Pale Ale'. Poured twice at home into a stemmed 'Yuengling' glass on 26 Aug 2013. A present from my daughter and son-in-law after a holiday in said park.

Looked fine, a good deep golden body with a full off-white head on both pours.

Hops to the fore in the nose and taste, with a malty undertone. I really liked this beer, good solid balance and plenty of flavour from start to finish.

Liked the alcohol level, suited the body depth and flavour.

I liked this one fairly well, speaking as an IPA drinker. Delicate orange-pine hops precede a bready malt backbone, finishing with mild hop bitterness. Plenty carbonated for summer drinkability. Bottle was labeled as "Yosemite Pale Ale", but reading the fine print revealed it was actually Paranoid Pale. Gift beer, possibly purchased in Yosemite Valley...

Amber in color with a sticky white head. Fairly sweet on the nose with lots of toffee and sweet bread malt aromas. A moderate citrus hop character to it, maybe a light floral note as well. The flavor is on the sweet side for a pale ale. Lots of bread, toast, and toffee. Some bitterness and hop flavor, but not overly intense. Pretty decent pale ale, actually.

A: Super clear and fizzy. Depending on the light, it goes from yellow to golden honey in color. Beautiful.

S: Smells sooo good!!! Honey, and malts and cake. Man this smells yummy! Vanilla. Caramel. Raw dough.

T: Very earthy and malty. Minimal hops, but then again it is an APA. Lots of malts. Very bready. Toast.

M: Thin and fizzy. Fits this brew very well.

O: A very solid APA.

thanks rtaps!!!

Thanks to Morgan for this one!

A: Pours an orange color with a a large 2.5 finger head that dissipates slowly leaving some splotches of foam on top. Thin lacing forms around the glass.

S: Very basic pale ale aroma, some faint citrus and pine mixed with some grainy malt and a bit of caramel.

T: Grainy malt up front with some faint pine, but very weak. Some lightly toasted malt dominates the flavor profile.

M: Light to medium bodied.

O: Not sure on the age, but a bit weak overall. Would have liked a but stronger hop presence.
