Mammoth epic ipa growler from brewery $8
A- pour from growler to pint glass produces a 2 finger frothy khaki head that rests atop a deep amber/copper colored beer. Decent sticky lacing. (Other batches of this beer have a golden color). 3.5
S- pine sap, floral hop aroma, molasses, caramel malt 4
T- a buttery malt taste, dank hops, pine, some citrus. Overly malty in this batch for an ipa uet still quite pleasurable and a food beer. 3.5
M- ever so slightly thin, good carbonation. 3.5
O- good drinkability although a bit sweeter than I normally like my beers especially my ipa's. This is far better fresh in the growler than canned or bottled. I have gotten the epic ipa many times on growler fills and there is some pretty noticable changes in some of the batches. Some are sweeter and more malty, other have a more piney, resinous hop taste. Guess which I prefer? The hopped up ones obviously! 4

Poured bomber into New Belgium globe
A-The pour is hazed orange copper with a smallish off white head. Had spotty lacing.
S-The aroma is faint floral hops along with cracker malt, grapefruit and resin.
T-The taste is a pleasant blend of the dry floral, softly bitter hops and the cracker toasted malt.
M-The mouthfeel is medium to light bodied with good carbonation and a clean dry softly bitter mineral finish.
O-Overall I was surprised by this beer with all the average reviews, nice aromas, taste, and mouthfeel. It would definitely ask for this one again.

Pours a clear orange with a foamy orange-tan head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with grapefruit juice and citrus zest flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer with a tasty citrus forward hop presence that makes this one easy to drink.
