App- I liked the color was a bit of a cordial brown with some golden notes in it. A small head with a little bit of crème and white in it. Falling quickly. Small dots of cling with one line of cling.
Smell- Right up front comes the sour notes on this one. It was a bit fruity in the nose with a tad bit of sugary melted cherries, a little vanilla and some oak and leather. Wasnt too sour but you can tell.
Taste- The old ale is more prevalent on the opening of this beer. Quite malty, with some vanilla and some leather notes and a touch of oak. Coming a couple second sips brings the dark fruits and a little bit of a tinge of acid which leads to a mild sour.
Mouth- A medium body with a medium-low carbonation and a touch of raspberry and oaky vanilla aftertaste.
Drink- I am not sold that this was done on accident and then released. If they didn't want to take the money hit I get it. However, changing the labels they knew it soured but said what the hell. It wasn't a bad beer. I think if they kinda tweek some test batches this could be bad ass.

Pours a murky brown with a tan head that settles to a film on the top of the beer. Small dots of lace form on the glass on the drink down. Smell is tart and there are some peanut and sour fruit aromas. Taste is pretty much the same with the interesting sour flavors. This beer has a low level of carbonation with a slightly flat mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with an interesting style to be soured. I read the brewery's website and they indicated this was done on purpose but I wonder if it was an accident in truth.
