Serving: Can

Pours a clearish (until you empty the last bit from the can...) golden straw with a fairly thick finger of pristine soapy white head that sticks around OK. The aroma is mainly herbal, grassy hops with a pretty thick wet cereal body. It tastes like a decent pils. Fairly clean, green spicy hops with a rich light toasted malt backbone. Pretty well balanced. This one didn't taste like they overdid it too bad on the grassy hops like some non-European pils I've had. Pretty tasty, pretty drinkable, pretty expensive unfortunately. Could be cleaner, crisper, clearer and cheaper in my opinion but not bad considering the lack of many lagers among QC breweries.

Can: Poured a bright blonde color pils with a huge white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of clean cereal notes with light crisp noble hops notes. Taste is a great mix of clean cereal notes with some crisp hoppy notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Very well brewed with great flavours, great drinkability and loads of delicate and subtle flavours.

473ml can poured into tulip 16/5/16 thanks mathueic for CANBIF box

A chill haze in a golden yellow body, lots of bubbles popping up from everywhere, pours foam as big as you wanted really, I stopped at 3 fingers, bone white foam leaves pencil thin rings all the way down after it falls to a thin film, looks great

S spicy, peppery hops, some sweet malt, stale bread, a hint of citrus and dried grass, smells like it should

T thankfully it mimics the smell, lots of classic pil notes, a little more fruity notes, spicy hops come out even more, I'm liking it

M has some weight to it, stops short of foam but its lively, has a bitter bite and spicy finish, refreshing and smooth

O unfiltered is a little odd from the style but brought out a little extra something, highly drinkable and I'm sure this would be in my Summer rotation if I could get it

I've been loving the pils lately and this ones no different, I'd like to see more craft pint cans, these would work wonders in a bucket of ice on a hot day

Appearance - The only thing bringing down the looks mark on this beer is the cloudiness. Czech pilsners are supposed to be crystal clear and this is extremely cloudy. The beer pours a cloudy golden orange color with 2 fingers of head which have not faded in 20 mins! The head is white and consists of super fine foam. Carbonation is pretty lively.

Aroma - floral hops, crackery pilsner malt and some peppery spice. Classic pils aroma.

Taste - The taste is all hops up front, Its floraly and spicy and bitter, this is followed by crackery malts balancing the taste.

Feel - not suprisingly it is medium body and creamy. The floral hops add a suprising sweet tang adding to the feel.

Overall - This is one of those across the board type brews, It has spots where it doesnt conform to its style yet still creates an enjoyable beer. Its not fantastic by any means of the word but it's definitely good. Cheers!

This might be the best looking Pils I've seen. Nice straw/yellow colour with a small white head with good retention and lots of carbonation visible.

Standard smell, you get cereals some malts and a little bit of hop. As well as some sweetness that reminds me of honey.

Nice cereal and malts taste. I expected a little bit more hops in the mouth but it's similar to most Pilsener for that.

Nice carbonation and mouth feel. Overall a really solid Pils!

Poured from a can purchased directly at the brewery.

Pours a light orange body and even with a hard pour, only a 2 finger head that dissipates quickly and leaves almost no lacing; disappointing. Has a crisp feel and flavor is strong on the mineral bitterness with some sulfur as well. Lacks a bit of punch and has low carbonation. Not the best representation of the style.
