Growler
A) Pours with a finger thick head. Settles slightly leaving a thin and sticky lacing on top and at the edge of the glass. Golden orange n color with a slight haze.
S) Hints of 2 row grains. Hop aroma is subtle.
T) Hop bite throughout. Mellow malt sweetness. Hints of nuttiness. Flavor profile very similar to an English pale ale.
M) Smooth. Creamy. Medium light body. Dry finish.
O) A decent pale ale. I'll be drinking more.

Served on draft in a shaker pint at the Land's End in Homer, the Old Inlet pale ales is a hazy gold, with a thick, 1 finger white head that is slow to subside, leaving moderately heavy lace.

There aroma is moderately fruity, with a nice punch of spicy & piny hops.

The taste begins assertively and is very welcoming, fruity with a soft malt backbone and nice spicy hop bite. It fades to a firm bitter finish with a clean aftertaste.

The mouthfeel is nice and firm, a medium bodied pale ale that stands up well to the spiciness of the hops.

If you like the hoppy NW style then this is a tasty, drinkable pale ale, although the spiciness of the hops might start to build up on the palate after a long session.

A good pale ale, in the PacNW style of being a bit bolder and hoppier then others, which I really appreciate.
