12oz brown bottle.

Pale golden hue, lacing stays around long enough. Hint of buttery yeast, faint sulphur as well with a semi-clean graininess in the nose. Just enough crispness, a bit more body than needed. Odd sweetness, faint fruitiness and buttery tone. Somewhat balanced but not enough to make it super drinkable. A decent lager but it need to be cleaned up a bit, a tad dryer as well.

355ml bottle served cool into a tulip glass

Look: Quite a bit darker than your typical lager - almost looks like an IPA or similar. Thin, white head which bubbled away to virtually nothing fairly quickly. The end result looks like ... flat lager.

Smell: Has a sharp, grainy smell - not unpleasant in itself, but very much like a typical lager. Nothing particularly special going on here, although it gets a few grassy aromas if it warms up a bit.

Taste: Sharp graininess but not a lot else. If there's any hop character here then it's very well hidden.

Feel: Crisp, slightly dry and not too heavy. Fairly easy drinking if you're into that kind of thing. Definitely more of a 'summery' drink. The carbonation helps to add a bit of an edge to it.

Overall: Really can't get excited about this, although in the interests of full disclosure it's probably worth pointing out that stouts, porters and Belgian beers are more my thing. As lagers go, it's not bad, but it's not brilliant either - definitely a cut above the usual macro rubbish though.

Poured from a cold 12 oz. bottle into a lager glass.

Dark yellow coloring, almost bordering on a copper color but not quite copper.

1 finger of head, with a little aeration. Head disappears quickly.

Aroma and taste of barley. Some hay. But barley, barley, barley all the way.

If you try hard you can taste some hops here, but very little.

A refreshing lager with a tad taste of hops.
