12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass.
Hazy light brown brew with nice yellowish head, a bit of lace.
Yummy spicy aroma, clove, cinnamon and allspice. Nice balance of maltiness, not sweet, carries the spicy flavor. No real detectable pumpkin for me, which is fine. A nice diversion if you are like spiced beer...fairly well done and drinkable, smooth mouthfeel.

12 oz bottle, poured into a pint glass

Appearance: Pours a pretty, hazy golden amber, that it speckled with orange highlights and a quarter of a finger of white head that quickly dissolved into a thin halo of foam that gripped the sides of the glass as well as formed wispy clouds that collected in the center of the top of the beer.

Aroma: Strong aroma of spices: all-spice, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, brown sugar, caramel, molasses, pumpkins.

Taste: Wow! Very savory pumpkin flavor up front, followed by some slight sweetness and finished by tons of spices like all-spice, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, brown sugar, caramel, molasses and slight hints of vanilla. All nicely balanced out by a malty backbone and slightly bittering hops. Delicious!

Mouthfeel: Medium, with some good carbonation to tickle the taste buds. With an ABV of 6.6%, there’s no presence of alcohol on the palate.

Overall: Jesus, this is an excellent beer! Tons of pumpkins and spices without being overly sweet, more like savory. Absolutely delicious! I’ll definitely have to add this to my pumpkin ale rotation!

Self-described as a "spiced harvest ale", but definitely more spice than harvest and I think the BA classification is accurate! Pours a clear orange colour with limited white head that disappears quickly. Spice-forward aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, all-spice and others I can't pick out - very aromatic. This continues into the taste, where the caramelized malts support the backdrop for these spices. Very flavourful, with spices more accustomed to deserts than specifically savoury, but has complemented our fall meal of soup & applesauce very well.

Not a beer I could drink for an evening, but glad to have tried it and a nice change of pace.

Spiced Harvest Ale is in my opinion one of the great seasonal beers. The color of a pumpkin, with a clove and oak taste, full bodied hops finish. I look forward to carrying it and often run out of it. Refreshing, semi filling. A great 2 bottle dinner pre-requisite every fall.

A - Not the prettiest looking ale. Hazelnut brown, hazy with tiny floaties of sediment. Head was a 1/4 inch but pull back to almost nothing. No sticky lace.

S - Very pleasant I love the addition of ginger it makes it smell fresh and crisp. If I were to pick out anything else it would be nutmeg, cinnamon, and some vanilla malt.

T - Very tasty stuff in fact it does taste better than most pumpkin spiced beers I had this year. Zippy fresh ginger, sweet malts, and a constant blended cinnamon/nutmeg combo. Love the addition of honey in small doses it makes for an enjoyable beer.

M - Light to medium. Sweet, spiced, delicious.

Overall recommended and a great pumpkin beer! Hope to see it again in greater quantities next year.
