This American Pale Ale’s hop profile is complimented with an ample amount of malt flavor. It’s cold-conditioned on Fresh whole leaf Cascade hops creating an unmistakable citrus-like aroma.

The best beer that I've sampled at the new Ram's Head in Baltimore so far. (which was a very hard decision between this and the oyster stout...)
Pours a deep brown that was nice and cloudy. The bartender did not offer me a head to judge, but there was some nice ringlets of carbonation puffing up.
Citrus and pine hops dominate the aroma.
Those same come through in the flavor, but are very well matched with a thick caramel.
The medium body finishes clean and dry, with some lingering zip on the tongue.
Great beer, check it out...

Its deep amber/copper body is topped by a creamy off-white head that holds quite well and leaves sheets of craggy lace. The nose delivers brightly citrusy and piney hops over a caramelish malt. Its medium/full body and very fine, median carbonation leave a gentle zest on the tongue before warming to become somewhat creamy. The flavor is well-balanced between caramelish/biscuity malt and citrusy piney hops (less than the nose suggested - but that's a good thing) backed by a solid bitterness. It's quite bold but still very drinkable, and it finishes dry with a lightly sweet, doughy and caramelish malt that lingering long with some residual bitterness. Really well done and certainly worth trying!

Tavern Ale pours a hazy amber- orange with a white frothy head that leaves plenty of lacing on the glass. The aroma is faint caramel malt with citrus and herbal hops. Tha taste starts with a bite of malt up front and then balances with flavors of citrus hops and some notes of biscuit malt or bread like flavors. The finish is moderately hoppy with some malt flavors trying to sneak in. Aftertaste is crisp and hoppy with notes of citrus lingering. Mouthfeel is medium with some mild carbonation and texture.
Overall a good solid American style pale ale. Enough said.
