Poured from 330mls can, has a straw coloured body with foam head that has good retention and lacing. Slightly cloudy. Aroma quite strong whiff of citrus and malt. Taste is of mild grapefruit and general citrus, quite a thin malt base but pronouned hoppy favour with a watery refreshment. Light carbonation on the palate, leaves a slight bitterness and dryness. I like these beers, you can get a bunch of their different lagers in a box.

Had Pistonhead Flat Tire in June 2017 on Gotland, Sweden, poured from 33-CL. can, stamped on bottom, (apparently) best before "20.APR.18," into small hand-blown tulip glass.
Pours bright gold with clarity and a 1-finger near-white head that doesn't last but does generate beautiful overlapping rings of lace. With a mild malty aroma and flavor in a crisp body and finish, this is a solid lager, but the advertised Mosaic and Centennial hops really don't make that much of a show.

Loving the design. Great head level, the mosaic and other hops give it a bit of a West Coast IPA aroma.
Light and tropical, like a watered down West Coast IPA. Great hops, I prefer this to most lagers. Overall, impressive as a light alternative to an IPA or as a more interesting and tropical alternative to a usual pilsner or lager.

BB: 9/5/19 Bought from Waitrose or Sainsbury's in London.
S- Citrus/orange zest. I'm beginning to get a little jaded with the propertion of new beers I buy to taste-test that up up majoring on citrus flavours. In fact I now see that it's noted on the can, so it's my fault for not checking it on purchase [I won't punitively mark it down for 'my fault' if you see what I mean... :)].
L- Lemon-orange yellow with a slight haze. Some rising CO2 into a thin head to slowly reduces to lacing.
T- Zesty, fresh, dry into hoppier dry and somewhat bitter end.
M-I reckon they have the ABV% right on this. Due to the heavy hopping it's pungent, while just about still being refreshing. Any higher ABV% and it might be increasingly OTT.
O- Hadn't realised this was Swedish until I looked up it's listing here. Note to self, I see Mosiac hops is the variety associated with distinctive citrus/ fruit/conifer/spice etc flavour such as here. It's written right on the can [pic below] so in future I know the flavour-profile likely to come from that. Ditto citra hops. Glad to try it, I've learned from it. Though all a bit too citrus/fruit and too much going on for me to make it a regular.

A 330ml can with a BB of May 2018. Acquired a while back from Tesco. Described on the label as a dry-hopped lager featuring Mosaic hops.
A: Poured into a pilsner glass. A golden colour with modest carbonation and plentiful suspended sediment that looks like coagulated protein. Produces a large head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before subsiding to a patchy surface layer. Some lacing.
S: Aroma of subtle fruity hops with hints of mild tropical fruit, faint white grape, grass/hay, a twinge of spice, earthy yeast and pale grainy malt. Crisp and understated - nice.
T: Tastes of mild fruity hops with notes of light tropical fruit, white grape, a touch of citrus, grass/hay, faint herbs, earthy yeast and pale malt. Bone-dry, followed by a delicate hoppy bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with soft carbonation and a somewhat insubstantial body. Could be a tad thicker and livelier. Aftertaste of subtle fruity hops, grass/hay, mild leafy bitterness and earthy yeast.
O: Pretty good - judicious use of aroma hops make this stand out. Subpar looks; too much chunky sediment. Aroma and flavour are nicely balanced with fruity hop notes, grass and earthiness. Body is OK but a shade too flat. Goes down readily enough - worth sampling if you come across it.
