This beer seems to be only available at IKEA stores in UK, never seen it in any beer store or supermarket. Poured from a 50cl can, and pale gold colour with plenty of fizz, though short lived. Dryish thin aroma, not especially encouraging. Taste was suprisingly hoppy bitter at first, though eased to slightly sweeter finish. I would not have guessed at it being 5.3 alc - as it has a light texture and little body. The more I drank it the thinner it appeared to taste, with little character, though not unpleasant. Guess it would be a good value thirst quencher on a hot summers day if served very cold. Not something I would buy again, but would drink it if offered. However, better tasting than awful Fosters in a can!!!

500ml can poured into a Young's pint pot.

A. Light straw coloured with a rocky white head.

S. No scent whatsoever, it may as well be tap water.

T. Sadly nothing except maybe some crystal malt and hops. On second detection I think I got the briefest whiff of fruit.

M. Medium bodied.

D. Two words - Don't bother.

Third time (because of site issues) I've reviewed this 500ml can!

One of the better offerings of IKEA's imports into Great Britain. I thought it tasty and drinkable, unable to remember why now, but it was OK. If I am offered another one day I'll re-reviewe the beer.

Can- Thanks to Milos for this!A sparkling gold pour with a fizzy white cap. Nose of corn and vegetables, some wet paper, grains and biscuit. Tastes sweet, of grassy hops, grains and sweet veggies. Quick and assertive fizzy finish. Sometimes you just need to shake it like a polaroid picture.

The brew is golden straw colored, a small white head that leaves no lacing.

The smell is sweet, very sweet, a bit cereal. Frost flakes comes to mind. Possibly a hint of boiled pears.

Starting very sweet, pure white sugar, some white bread, a dash of orange and a short non-intrusive bitterness.

Medium carbonation, a small body, rather soft and only a faint dry finish.

Actually a plastic bottle, 250 ml. Rather easy to drink if you're not into hops, and want a rather sweet beverage.

Swedish beer is fun to me because I can buy it at Systembolaget and anywhere else like 7-11, the later being of lower alcohol versions of the former. I only tried the lower alcohol version of this one, as there are other better Swedish beers to get in higher alcohol.

Average in all ways, not really good but not bad either. Smells a bit of corn, all in all nothing special. Nevertheless I liked this beer and it served me well. I was still able to drink much with my friends, when I had a sore throat! It was very smooth in all ways. Take it for what it is and enjoy. Just a typical beer to drink and have a good time.

Pours pale golden with large white head that slowly dissipates, some patchy lacing. Aroma is faint sweet vegetables.

Taste is unpleasant malt with weird bitterness that reminds of herbs. Mouthfeel is light with biting and more than average carbonation and smooth alcohol warming.

I did not like the beer and would never buy it again.

A friend gave me a 33CL can from a recently trip to Sweden. Poured in a glass, the brew presented a thick white head that rapidly dissipated with almost non-existent lacing. Nose was weakly malted. Color was nice golden yellow. This beer has excessive carbonation. This was the one feature that caught my attention about this beer as I have never seen a beer this active before. The taste was dry which I don’t mind. The beer is quite bitter initially, but tones down as the glasses’ end nears. Mouth feel is thin and watery. While I would not turn down another if offered, I will not seek out this brew as many far better lagers are available.

Picked this up at an expat grocery store in Shanghai China.

A: Poured from the 500mL can into a pint glass. Average looking beery beer. Nothing too special here - yellow carbonated liquid topped with a fizzy white head.

S: A bit of a sour note but mostly just grainy. Not all that much here.

T: Bready with sour characteristics, some cooked vegetables and a drying bitterness toward the end. Pretty light and drinkable.

Overall, not too bad, but not all that great either. Average beer all around. No desire to pick up again.

This was the fourth most sold strong beer in Sweden in 2004 (#4 in 2003)

Colour is yellow with a tint of gold. The airy white foam sinks immediately down to a thin white lid.

The smell is a bit sour with malty notes of white bread, some diacetyl and a touch of herbs.

The taste is mild with a lot of malts (with some body), some sweetness, diacetyl and some aroma hops that balances the flavours. The bitterness is present, but not much more. The aftertaste is creamy with notes of marzipan and wheat cookies and a slowly growing bitter touch

Carbonation is strong with medium sized bubbles. In fact, it is on the border of being too strong; it tickles the whole mouth.

A rather anonymous lager, Dortmunder or not.

A can of this beer from Spendrups was purchased at Systembolaget. Systembolaget is the government owned chain of liquor stores scattered throughout Sweden.

It has bright yellow color to it with creamy head.
It smells yeasty and light.
The taste is simple and crisp.
Mouthfeel is pleasant with a faint sweetness.
Drinkability gets a 3.5 because I am Swedish !
