The color of the beer is amber, it's clear and has a tan head that recedes rather quickly, but leaves good lacing. Curtains can bee seen.

The smell is rather faint, slightly sour like battery acid, not entirely pleasant.

Initially a slight bready sweetness, then alcohol and a sour bitter chemical taste.

Medium low carbonation, small bubbles, rather smooth body, an alcohol feeling and a finishing dryness.

Nope, they didn't hide the alcohol, so it's little brother is actually better IMHO.

The smell is malty with some spicy notes and quite a lot of alcohol. Hints of biscuits and almonds.

The colour is brown-red (34 EBC), the liquid is clear. The two finger head is compact and warm white. It sinks slowly leaving some lacing.

The strong taste is malty and sweet with some mild roasted notes. Lots of warming alcohol. Bitter notes that are quite aggressive in the start. They get milder after a short while, leaving room for sweet motes of almonds, nuts and a touch of raisins. Full body. The aftertaste got some salty notes, raw bread-line flavours, bitter almonds and lots of alcohol. Raisins, some sour/astringent flavours and heavy alcohol in the finish.

The carbonation is medium, the small bubbles sharp. The liquid is a bit sticky.

A bit astringent, raw, at times almost brutal. Yet a beer with some kind of balance and character.

A: Pours copper with a large tan rahter soapy head that dissipates quickly into at best decent lacings.

S: Unbalanced - sweet, very sweet malt, slightly roasted - but also a little bit watery. Kind of spicy. Very faint dark dried fruits - due to the alcohol.

T: Roasted sweet malt, a little too sweet for my taste. Unbalanced bitter hops. Still some dark dried fruity notes. The taste could perhaps improve if the beer rested for a year in my beer-cellar.

M: Long aftertaste both sweet and bitter. Body is medium to full and carbonation is medium.

D: A Swedish macro beer...
