Pours a standard lagery colour with a steady amount of carbonation. Little head that dissipates quite quickly. Unimpressive.

Aroma is thick with a lot of honey and bitter herbal hops. Simple but aromatic.

Don't like the flavour at all, far too heavy on the malt. Starts with an unpleasant cloying sweetness on the front palate. Almost like liquid sprinkles or something. Descends into a subdued hoppy palate but is still overwhelmed by that horrible liquid sugary stuff. Mouthfeel is sticky and dreadful, again like liquid sprinkles.

Am completely unimpressed by this, would not recommend without medical supervision.

My bottle actually says Pils, but it's a very similar label to this one and it appears that they only make 4 types of beer, so I'm fairly sure this is right.

A: Clear and orange with intermittent carbonation. Healthy yet quickly dissipating head.

S: Metallic but fruity malts, like many German beers.

T: It oddly reminds me a lot of this very cheap beer I used to buy in the US. Slightly tart and dirty malt. A bit of sweetness. Not

M: Mouthpuckering in a strange way.

D: It's not a great beer. Given that, I could still drink it.

My first encounter with this Czeck brewed beer, a pilsener (what else?).
I heard people had good experiences with this Breznak. I'm not a great fan of this style, but I thought I'd give it a chance.

Colour golden, fast reducing head, hardly any carbonation.
Smell is malty, yeast and hoppy. Actually, the fresh hoppiness is the only thing that is different from most lagers I know. It's just more fresh.
Taste is malty, hoppy, but also chemical and soapy somehow. Bitter aftertaste, but the sweet malts are dominant.
As most of the beers in this style, it's easy drinkable as sessionbeer, but also quite disappointing as a whole: just too one-dimensional.

So, if you like pilsener, you can pick this one as well as the next one.
I had expected more, but what can you do?

I'll drink it up, but I won't buy more of this.

Half litre bottle. Poured into pils flute, clear, copper colour, foamy head. Slight soapy smell, also some saaz. Tasted a bit of parmesan cheese, also a hint of apple. Fairly bitter finish. Decent for the price. Nice drinkable beer, there are better czech beers out there but you cant go too far wrong with czech lager.

Dark, orange-gold colour. Huge amount of carbonation and a massive foaming frothy head. I can already tell this is going to be a big, boisterous beer.

Nice, standard pils. Some amount of sweetness, but the hops cuts through enough to make sure it doesn't become too sickly. In fact, a very clean, refreshing aroma.

Smooth entry, with a bitey, sharp metallic hop bitterness following closely afterwards. Very refreshing and drinkable, but rather standard for a pils. Mouthfeel is a little fizzy and frothy.

A quaffable beer, nothing more. I'm quite happy to drink Czech pils, but there are better examples out there.

A: Pours golden with a white sparkeling large creamy head.

S: Floral hops and some faint bitter ones as well, pure malt.

T: Bitter hops and some faint floral ones (quite the opposite from the smell!). Bready malt, thought a bit funky and rough. There are some green apples in the taste as well.

M: The aftertaste is a bit short but holds a nice dry bitterness. The body as well as the carbonation is medium.

D: Nice, but nothing to write home about. Better than almost all "industrial" lager.

Appearance: Pours a light golden colour which is a little brown. The head formation was pretty poor and the head subsided quite quickly leaving little to no head or lacing. The carbonization was also visibly non-existent.

Smell: Subtle malts and hops which are sudgesting a reasonably refreshing beer with quite a bit of sweetness which come from what seems to be a floral hop varety.

Taste: Very grassy hops with a hint of sweetness in the mix moderate amount of bitterness on the edges of the palate which maybe a touch of course dryness in the center.

Mouthfeel: moderate to high carbonization which goes down quite smooth and thin.

Overall: Not to bad but beer doesn’t do anything wrong but doesn’t blow my head of. A good drinkable Czech pilsner.

half liter bottle poured into a pilsener glass. pours a light golden color with two fingers of off white head which lasts a couple minutes.

aroma is of light floral yeast, with a light grainy character and a vanilla tinge. a note of very light caramel is very distant.

taste is of light floral yeast as well, with a more pronounced grainy character. not much else here.

mouthfeel is light bodied with a slick mouthfeel and a finish of residual grain.

drinkability is decent. this is a light pilsener with a very subtle character which works well.

Pours a darkish golden color with plenty of bubbly white head that laces the glass. Smells slightly malty, but that's about it. The taste is sweet, but I'm not detecting a lot of malt. There's not a lot of hop flavor either, and just barely enough bitterness to balance out the sweetness. Mouthfeel is fairly heavy, but mostly it's watery, there's not a lot of carbonation there. Overall, it's very drinkable. It would be a good heavy on a hot day.

A beer on the dark side of the spectrum that had the ability to maintain a soft densely bubbled head.
It is somewhat subdued in aroma and tatse , tending , in my mind at least more towards a Euro Pale Lager than a Pils.
It is thickish in the mouth and whilst hinting at sweetness there is enough tartness in the hops to balance it out well.
It has a vague citrus aroma which is not apparent to me in the flavour.
This was a relatively cheap (for Oz) beer in a 500ml bottle .

Draught at The Rover in Gotheburg, Sweden.
Clear amber color.
Thich white head, long lasting.
Distinct malty scent.
Low bitterness, medium body.
Balanced flavor with a mix of malt and hops.
Fairly easy to drink, but a bit more bitterness than the ordinary light lager.
Fruity and bitter aftertaste.

Decent Czech lager. It has a light, golden color, a dry bitterish taste of malt and hops. It smells of malt and hops as well, and...I think it's maize. On my top 10 list of standrad Czechs. But who is the guy on the label?. He looks like a fat Lenin in exile.

Pale honey, not much carbonation. White head & lace.

Aromas of toast, grains. Slight caramel, restrained.

Flavours of sweet chewy malts. Pear flesh, bread crust, slight metallic note. Standard Euro lager, but with some interesting highlights.

Smooth & easy drinking, with a light bitterness, good finish.

Could drink several, given the chance. There are worse Euro lagers around...
