A: on the darker side of brown. beautiful meringue head, very cloudy.
S: Somewhere between a hefeweizen and dunkelweizen. Yeasty but in a sort of nutty way. Cloves
T: Interesting, nutty hefeweizen. Peanuts, with a yeasty tang.
M: Not much of one aside from being a hair astringent.
O: Okay. slightly interesting but mediocre

L- A shade of deep-orange/gold, pours with quite a haze and a 3mm white cap.
S- It has 'that very Weizen note'... like a rich almond biscuit scent with a soft-fruit scent behind.
T- It's quite bright on the front into a bready/wheaty middle then a mild hop-lick into the finish. I think it is the wheat aspect here that gives the hints of almond in the Smell^.
F- Big carbonation in the mouth. This 500ml is a ceramic stopper+steel caged bottle, perhaps needed for export to keep the caps on? It's a refreshing beer, it's going down well. The weizen profile and high CO2 = it feels a bit thin/light to me.
O- It's a decent wheat beer, and zero out of place - though lights tasting/feeling. For me this style is one for summer. It's now October and cold out, my palate wants less refreshment and more indulging. Nice as it is it's a beer I should come back to in summer and try again.

Bought from BeersOfEurope/UK for home delivery. 500ml bottle. BB: 07/05/2021

Poured from fridge temp. Pours a nice dark orange - murky. Nose is a lot of spice. Reminds me of Christmas. Nutmeg, cinnamon, and caramel. Really nice. Taste doesn't really follow the nose. Much lighter than the nose would suggest. More subtle notes of spice, nutmeg, and malts. Some caramel, but it's not too strong. Mouthfeel is light. Overall, a nice beer, but I was hoping the flavors to be a bit more pronounced.

Kultbücher Brauerei AG, "Kapuziner Kellerweizen"
,5L brown glass flip top bottle, "Mindestens haltbar bis: 24.05.18
,79€ @ City-Mark, Bamberg, DE

Look: Darker than a typical hefeweizen, and deep amber in color. It's just as cloudy though, and the tall fluffy head remains the same, holding well and settling into a creamy cap that leaves great lacing behind.
Smell: Green banana, red apple, and light wheat malt. Touch of yeast. Mild herbal hops.
Taste: As the aroma suggests with a lightly caramelish and nutty side to the wheaty malt. It's sweetish but it's also earthy, and there's a bit of tanginess to it that helps to balance it along with a very mild bitterness. It finishes dry with some lingering apple and banana, and herbal hops.
Feel: Light-medium in body and gently crisp and effervescent with a seemingly natural carbonation.
Overall: Certainly pleasant enough, and an interesting change from a standard, sweeter and less tangy hefeweizen.

From the half liter bottle, it pours a hazy amber with a lovely tan head. A bit of yeast on the nose. muted flavor in comparison with others, but I like it. Enjoyable!

Hazy golden with brown, huge head, going away slooowly.
Smells of classic banana and clove, with a darker note, like a dunkelweizen roast, also a slight nuttiness.
Clove and banana are big in the taste, no lemon zest. Nice oily nuts, like peanuts and brazilian. Earthy yeasts. Hops are present and provide a mild herbal bitterness in the finish, refreshing and well balanced with the heavy wheaty malts.
Body is creamy, with a very low fizz, but enough to keep this beer easy to drink.
An interesting kellerweizen, the blend of styles really works.
