Grand Teton Double IPA
12oz to snifter
A: Deep hazy orange, starts with a fingers worth of eggshell colored head but dissipates quickly into a soft ring. Lacing outstanding; this is a good looking DIPA.
S: Grapefruit, blood orange and citrus, pine-y undertones, tropical fruit, with some soft herbal hop characters. Not much malt to be found on the nose.
T: Wow, taste follows the nose and it tastes good. The grapefruit flavor is start to finish, and a perfect amount of bitterness.
MF: I like it, it's slightly heavier bodied that I was expecting, with some pithy hop oil clinging to your mouth. Medium dryness.
O: Impressed. Seriously, I like this beer a ton: easily drinkable @ 8.0, good grapefruit flavors throughout and a nice bitter dryness.

Served on tap into a tulip glass.
A- Poured a hazy orange color with off-white soapy head with big bubbles that left webbed lacing.
S- Huge pungent grapefruit, piney, and orange citrus notes. Lots of huge juicy hop character in the aroma, very strong and aromatic.
T- Lots of sweet and juicy grapefruit, big piney hops, orange citrus, dankness, and some tropical fruit notes. Very pungent, juicy, and lots of sweetness for a DIPA, but pretty low bitterness for the style.
M-Prickly carbonation, fuller bodied, some warming, semi-dry finish, and slightly syrupy.
O- This is an intensely hoppy and enjoyable DIPA> Very concentrated hoppiness with lots of residual sweetness but not over the top.
