Our flagship Teton Ale is a full bodied, American-style amber with a rich copper color which comes from the roasted Crystal and Munich malts. We use Cascade and Galena hops to achieve the unique, fresh flavor and robust finish that is long and complex on the palate.

BOTM continues...I wish they'd send me something *interesting*...

Another standard American amber. Pours medium brown with a bit 'o' red. Not much head, not much lacing, decent carbonation. Smells like light caramel malts and light hops. Taste follows with a decent balance of the semisweet malts and the lightly floral hops. A bit thin in the mouthfeel, overall OK.

Pours an amber color with three fingers of khaki foam. Good retention. Aroma is caramel, molasses, crackers, bready, and mild nutty malts. Flavor profile is caramel right out front, with bits of cracker and bready malts behind. Mild nutty and faint grassy hops add some extra character. Semi sweet overall. Mouth feel is creamy in texture with a medium thickness, making a comforting texture. Overall, solid. Nothing earth shattering. Pleasant balance, and inoffensive.

Served from a 12oz can. Reviewed from notes.

I am drinking a can of this beer in Gardiner, Montana. I came by this beer via a mixed 12pck that I bought in Jackson, Wyoming. It poured a clear amber with thin off white ring head that did not leave much lace. The scent had subtle caramel malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp caramel malt base and gentle bittering hop finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

6/28/18...pours rich amber with ring of white foam. Bready caramel nose a little sweet. Robust amber , toffee filled flavor. Crisp bite to close. Classicly made amber, very good.

a can from the mixed pack this afternoon, one of the more popular and classic grand teton flavors, but one i have somehow missed until now. i dont drink a ton of ambers or reds, but i would have thought id have had this before now, i guess not. its deep copper in color, high headed, over two inches of airy white head with great retention, a little shine to the beer, pretty in the glass. aroma and flavor are nice, toasty and simple, deep but not sweet, a kilned malt nuttiness rather than a sweeter bready or caramelized vibe that a lot of these have, kind of earthy to me, even rustic as these go, more well refined than a lot of them, and without much yeast character or anything, but nicely dry. it has a lightly northwestern hop profile, some light pine for balance, a cascade sort of spiciness to me as well, and just enough bitterness for this to be multidimensional overall. curiously dry, a medium body, excellent carbonation and an almost creamy texture to it as it warms. not a style i get too stoked on, but this is a wonderful example of it, super professionally done, and way better than its ratings for sure. i know the style is dying out a bit, but they should keep this around, its really solid, not too rich for summer, old school and delicious and even distinctive in a samey style. nice.

Time to review a step dad homebrewer classic amber ale that has been around awhile.

I love writing appearance parts for amber/red ale: Pours an amber/red color! Light tan head 1/2" deep. Aroma is that familiar earthy red malt and dirty caramel vibe. Light Cascade green vibe to the aroma. So far we're right in the wheelhouse of a traditional American red ale (unless the slight hopping is too much for you I guess).

Taste keeps banging away on the red maltiness, but hey it is viably counterbalanced with the Cascade (and to a lesser extent Galena) pine/grapefruit opposition to the richness of the toffee/caramel malty feels. Its pretty similar in most aspects compared to the superior Nugget Nectar. Difference? Probably 2-3x the hop bill, of a hop that is better situated to red ales (Nugget), which is a tough thing to say, as I think Chinook and Cascade do admirably in this style of beer.
The carbonation could be a little livelier, but I think they went with smoothness as a more desired trait.

No off flavors, I think there's plenty of people who would dig this beer.
