"Our Ale 208 is crisp with a light malt body and subtle, citrusy, hop character. It’s brewed with 100% Idaho grown grain, hops and pure Idaho spring water. The package imagery is inspired by and pays tribute to Idaho’s rich agricultural heritage and its diverse and beautiful vistas. The name comes directly from the 208 area code that encompasses all of Idaho."

Growler picked up at Grand Teton's 25th Anniversary party at Bittercreek last night.

Pours a very clear light golden with a nice long lasting white head.

Nose shows a very balanced light grainy maltiness playing against a light citrus hoppiness.

Flavor mirrors the nose perfectly... very drinkable... No flaws.

Light/body with a decent carbonation... again, very quaffable.

A fairly dry and crisp ale that ten years ago I would have considered an IPA, but living in the Northwest where the beers have grown much hoppier, especially IPA's, this now seems rather mellow. This is a very drinkable brew and marries nicely to warm evenings on the deck or in a hammock. It's listed as a session beer and you could easily spend the evening downing several of these.
