A - Pours a clear bright copper beneath two fingers of fizzy porous head and spotty lacing.
S - Faint passionfruit, orange, mild hop aromas.
T - Fruity hops, passionfruit and citrus, Fanta with a hint of pine in the finish. Very tame on the IBUs.
M - High carbonation, light to medium body.
O - Seems more of a APA than IPA considering the lack of bitterness, but pleasant enough.

Tower 10, let's hope it's a 10 out of 10. Bad joke aside I'm always keen to taste what our American brethren produce; they may have a crappy health care system, screwed up gun laws, and overall lack any form of tact when it comes to international diplomatic situations, but the USA does one thing well: craft beer. And with that my taste buds stand to boldly taste where no bud has tasted before [cue Tongue Trek theme].
Poured from a 355ml bottle into a nonic pint.
A: Nice and heady. The 2cm dense white head on this brew towers over the hazy bottle-conditioned burnt orange body like the aforementioned tower... *ticks box*
S: Citrus, pine and toasted malt, it has them in spades. There is also a nice sharp acidity to the aroma.
T: Quite ordinary here. Toasted malt base with bitter pine hops, bitter citric hops followed by the bitterness of an orange rind... Oh and did I mention it was bitter? Yes? OK it's bitter, not mouth-smashingly-tastebud-crashingly bitter but bitter enough to be noticed, which in itself is alright but it's missing more flavours, something else, stone-fruits or herbaceous tang would have been great additions, as it stands its a half beer in flavourland.
M: Here is where Tower 10 shines: a mid to heavy resinous body with some tight packed carbonation, nice.
D: I would easily smash a session on this if it was more flavour complex. That is it. Not much else to say. Otherwise a good drop.
Food match: Anti-bitter is my first suggestion... wait, I'm just being told that anti-bitter hasn't been invented yet. Right, something else, dessert would be a best bet (if you're drinking this you would likely be at the dessert phase of the meal anyway), caramelised pears with a fennel jus and crème Chantilly.

Poured a hazy brassy hue with a one finger frothy white head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured a muddling if pine and citrus and a heft caramel.
The taste was malt driven with a secondary hop presence at the finish.
The mouthfeel was toward the fuller side of the style.
Overall a decent drinkable IPA.

Had on tap at Phileas Fogg's in Poway. Pours a clear dark orange with a little bit of red in it. Standard head of foam, nothing out of the ordinary there. This is definitely more of a "balanced" IPA if you will, but it still has a nice hop flavor. Somewhat citrusy, somewhat earthy and floral. Not as dry as most San Diego IPA's / Pale ales.

Poured into a pint glass.
A: Pours a dark yellow/ light amber color. It has a small white head that fades quickly and leaves some light lacing. It appears to have some light carbonation.
S: The smell consists of a heavy herbal scent and a strong citrus character. It is decently hoppy considering it is an IPA. It also has some hints of sweetness.
T: The first thing that is noticeable is the nice bite of hoppiness. It has a nice bitterness for an IPA. There is also a unique sense of light caramel-like taste.
M: It kind of has a dry feel to it. It isn't overbearing and leaves you wanting more. It leaves a nice crisp finish and isn't too carbonated.
D: Overall it is a nice example of an IPA. It has the bitterness and crispness from the hops that is expected from an IPA. A nice take on the style that I would like to try again.
