On tap for the 4th Annual LA Beer Week Beer Festival at Union Station in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a murky light yellow with a foamy bone colored head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Tiny dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, yeast, and spices. Taste is much the same with a mild spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty and refreshing.

This must be the 2011 version, though ABV was listed at 4.6%. Tasted at the San Diego tap and restaurant.
Really spritzy in the mouth. Once that seltzer acidity burns off it leaves a pleasant mellow taste of malt. Nice aroma of wheat esters, like a lightened Hefeweizen. Watery, refreshing mouthfeel with a club soda taste. Good gulpability but not much refinement.
Pale golden color in the pint glass and heady good looks. Not a bad choice for a lighter beer and lower alcohol.
