Definitely a German quality to it. Nice mix between a pilsner and traditional German lager. Light in body as expected. Highly attenuated. Toasted pilsner malt, fruity esters and noble hop bitterness. Very short finish. Not bad. Expected this to be shit, but it's not terrible.

12 oz bottle was poured into a can shaped glass.
Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is a golden straw yellow color with great clarity and vision of bubbles coming up through the glass. Frothy lacing down the glass as the beer was drank.
Smell: Toasted, grainy, pale malt flavor, and some sweetness.
Taste: Lots of pilsner malt flavor. Some chewy notes and sweetness. Noble hops and bitterness in the rear.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, light, chewy, medium carbonation, crisp, and refreshing.
Overall: Good flavor for a light light pilsner. I'd revisit this again.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle brewed in Vermont. Sampled on November 6, 2015.
Straw yellow pour with a white fizzy head that dissipates quickly. Bubbly carbonation.
I get toasted German malts and grass on the nose. But not an overwhelming aroma. Typical for the style.
Light body.
The taste has a toasted bread and grass character. Are you looking to cut calories? There are better Light lagers out there but it'll do.

Low carb, high protein (relatively speaking) beer. Genius.
Pale straw color with an insta-vanish head. BA says this is a Vienna but I'm thinking light lager as it lacks any toastiness or dark coloring. Super sweet taste and aroma. Hints of honey, almost mead-sh. Or not sweet cider. Not particularly beery at all.
As a crossfitter, trail runner, hiker, and generally active fella I suppose I'm the target market for this stuff. But I drink seldom and when I do I want the best beer I can find because it's a reward for working hard. 4 grams of protein is practically nothing and it's the alcohol and sugars that get you, not necessarily the carbs. Even Keel has a similar alcohol content and is worlds better. Also I can imagine a potential for whey farts if one drinks too much.

Bright, light, not anything overly special but a solid light beer. I feel like this after a run would be great, protein and a refreshing brew. Expensive but it has it's place.
