Pours to a clear light golden yellow with a thick pure white head. Disappears quickly to a thin film on top of beer.
Can smell a hint of hops and a biscuity maltiness.
Has a mild hop bitterness up front with a mild lightly-toasted bread flavor coming through before a dry finish takes over. Nice balance.
Has a crisp refreshing fell in the mouth. Good Carbonation and refreshing!
A beer I could drink over and over again! Plus the each beer has a fish and size under each cap so you can make a fun drinking game out of it.

Clear golden yellow with a close-cropped white head that disappears without a trace over a couple minutes.
Doughy nose with whispers of grain, honey, and pears. Hops bring a light, dried florality. For the style, it's a concentrated and atractive aroma.
Through the mouth, its honey-sweetened grains first, puffing up fuller with a prevasive doughiness and a light dusting of ground corn. Clean and brisk through the middle, with a vague apple cider note. Hops are role players, but bring mown hay and leafy grasses.
Fuller than many American lagers, but still on the light side. Steady carbonation, non-fizzy, and taut in feel. It presents as an US / Helles Lager hybrid.
This plain and simple, and, plain and simple, it's a very nice quaffer.

Had all the characteristics of a simple lager, but no harsh finish at all. Clear gold in color, big airy white head that dies pretty fast. The body looks pretty alive, a fair amount of bubbles released within. Semi sweet malt taste, no hops that I could gather, and not too much abrasive carbonation. If in mood for a traditional lager it goes down really easily.

Pours a clear straw color with a nice two-fingered white head that had some decent retention. Just a little lacing left on the glass. Appears to be a little darker than the standard Macro Lager.
The smell of fresh cut grass fills the nose to go along with a mild maltiness. A little bit of graininess is also present.
Has a mild malt taste with a whisp of hops on the finish. This is a hint of adjuncts and grains. Nice flavor for a Macro Lager and one of the best I have sampled. Has a very clean finish.
The body seems to be more substantial than others of style. The carbonation is not as fizzy either.
Easy drinking and good flavor for the syle. The price seems to be a bit high and the taste is just a tiny bit above Grain Belt. I wish it came it cans so you could take the beer in the outdoors but sadly this beer will have to wait for your return to the cabin before you can enjoy.

Typical lager straw yellow color, medium carbonation; ordinary domestic mass produced lager taste, but not as acidic, and without a lingering aftertaste. Nothing extraordinary and that's the problem in a nut shell.
Kudos for the drone delivery system, which made headlines.

Found this in Racine, WI which happens to be on Lake Michigan.
Suckered by the goofy label, I was just going to get this for a fishing buddy, but decided to get an extra single to review.
Urine copper gold with slow carbonation. There was about an inch of foam at first, and now there's just a feeble skim. It does lace a little on the opposite side. Let's face it though, drinking this on a boat, you probably won't be looking at the lacing.
Faint aroma of sweet cereal grain, honey graham cracker.
Sweet apple and husky grains, not terrible. A little flaccid and gassy feeling though. Very light bodied, lingering sweet malt finish when there shouldn't be much of one. Goes down easy enough, not one to deconstruct the finer points of. Simple and utilitarian, more of a novelty for the odd "Lakemaids" on the label.

Thanks to Buebie for this extra via trade... It's been a while since I've tried a new Adjunct Lager...
A - Two fingers of fizzy lightly packed white foam... Head quickly fades and leaves a full lacing... Pale yellow straw color... Little or no noticeable carbonation... Looks like a fairly textbook lager...
S - Fresh grains... Bread crust... Hints of lemon and honey...
T - Corn... Biscuit... Crust... Faint malt presence... A brisk earthiness... Slight sugar sweetness... Honey... Lemon...
M - Good light sparkling carbonation on the tongue... Light to medium bodied... A little on the thin side... Slightly astringent... Dry... Not off-putting, but not very much substance...
D - Not bad, but an average at best... There's nothing wrong with this beer, but I can't put my finger on anything memorable either...

Reviewed cold from a bottle to a glass
A - orangish/yellow, carbonation present. 2 fingers of foam that disappeared rather quickly, lacing ring was present
S - Citrus, malts with hints of hops
T - Slight lemon flavor, very light tasting and very easy to drink
M/D - Pretty drinkable light bodied brew, another good summer time brew. A little crisp at first but finishes smooth. Another Schell's brew that I recommend!

Thanks KeefD for pointing this one out to me.
Calling northern Minnesota "home" for much of my life, I really appreciate when a brewery takes time to brew a beer for the outdoorsman. Schells nails it on the head with with one.
Great all day beer drinking beer. Nice bottle too. Has everything that a sportsman could want. Great taste, Lower ABV, Nice Bottle, and locally brewed so the price is right. Look no further. In my opinion, much better than any of the big name lager beers out there. Also helps that this one comes in a brown bottle with a real bottle cap.
Taste is spot on. Fresh tasting, not too filling, great smell and appearance. While at home in the boat, it would also be great for deer hunting camp.
Way to go Schells. Another solid preformer.
