Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a Sam Adams Pint.
A: Pours a clear, medium yellow orange, with one finger of pale cream head. Average retention and lace, nice carbonation.
S: Hay and sweet malt, seems to have more malt aroma than typical for the style, I think that's a plus.
T: Light, creamy malt flavor. A bit of hops on the finish. Flavor is clean and without the typical flaws of cheap adjuncts. Starts out a bit timid, but actually improves with a little warmth.
M: Light mouthfeel, carbonation is midway between creamy and fizzy.
O: Best adjunct I've had in recent memory. As I'm drinking this, I've also got some brats cooking in a couple of these, I'm thinking that those should turn out well. Hats off to Schell for making something in a style that rarely makes it above a "meh."

Found this in Racine, WI which happens to be on Lake Michigan.
Suckered by the goofy label, I was just going to get this for a fishing buddy, but decided to get an extra single to review.
Urine copper gold with slow carbonation. There was about an inch of foam at first, and now there's just a feeble skim. It does lace a little on the opposite side. Let's face it though, drinking this on a boat, you probably won't be looking at the lacing.
Faint aroma of sweet cereal grain, honey graham cracker.
Sweet apple and husky grains, not terrible. A little flaccid and gassy feeling though. Very light bodied, lingering sweet malt finish when there shouldn't be much of one. Goes down easy enough, not one to deconstruct the finer points of. Simple and utilitarian, more of a novelty for the odd "Lakemaids" on the label.
