Deep golden almost reaching bronze color with a medium to large frothy white head. Good maintenance on the head and moderate lacing. Aroma is lemony with a grapenut aspect and a bit of spice, but I don't think spices were added. Taste begins with a malty spice flavor. Quite smooth. Sweetened barley flavors show themselves. A citric aspect comes in and shuts down the sweetness while leaving the crisp malty flavors. A nice little hoppy kick comes in the finish. Ends not sweet nor dry but moreso crisp than anything. Lighter body excels with the solid moderate carbonation. Easy drinking with just enough flavor and complexity to keep my interest piqued. Enjoyable.

Seeking out various local summery brews, and this is an obvious one I haven't had. Tasted 29 July 2013, reviewed from notes.
Pours medium-pale golden yellow, glass-clear. One finger of almost-white head, plenty of visible carbonation. Okay retention, little lacing.
Smell is very grainy, like mid-summer wheat and corn, but pleasantly crisp. A toasty/buttery aroma near the end is a little odd, not fitting in with the other elements.
Taste is just kinda meh. Bland, with just a touch of hop zing. Grainy again, just not much going on. Not flavorless, but not flavorful either.
Feel is okay. Medium-bodied, more buoyant than I want it to be, and with rather low carbonation. Could be better.
One of those beers that I can drink, but that I don't feel any need or real desire to. Refreshing enough, though the toasty/buttery character and the mouthfeel bring it down a notch.
