Pours to a copper color with a thin white head that leaves a nice lacing on the glass.
Smells of spicy hops and bready malts. Nice.
Tastes of spicy hops hits you upfront with a citrus mixed in, but a bready malt that is not overshadowed by the hops.
Crisp mouth feel with good carbonation.
I could drink this all night. One of my favorite in the Anniversary Series.

Clear, amber-colored beer topped by a healthy white head. Lacing is excellent and head retention holds up very good.
Clean aromas are first of pilsner malts and sweet grains, followed then by earthy and lightly citrus hops.
Tastes fairly hoppy -- much more then I've experienced in other Schell's brews. The hops are both citrusy and earthy, as noted in the nose. The malt component is light and takes a backseat in this one. I also get a bit of unpleasant vegetable flavors.
Mouthfeel is crisp with a moderate amount of carbonation and a medium body. The finish is dry and primarily of bittering hops.
Overall a good beer; it reminds me of a hop-forward Oktoberfest lager. My preference would be for this to have more balance towards the malt end, but I understand that's not what the brewer intended.
Thanks to fLax for this one!
