killer killer beer, and for how new they are, this is incredibly impressive. its one of the best beers ive had from these guys so far. the idea of a table saison is awesome, i love the low alcohol bretty stuff, and they have done a nice job with grain and yeast here. its wheaty and fuller bodied for how light it is, and has a rather developed musty horsey brett complexion, maybe with some belgian saison strain as well. this is really about the hops though, they have created a cool base beer to showcase different strains, and the amarillo edition is on point. this hop is so pungent and juicy, it matches up with the brett really well, and even reminds me of that sur amarillo tool made not to long ago, the funk and the punch of the hops, which are citric and almost puckery in their own right, is just awesome. refreshing too because its super dry and well carbonated, really pretty flawless on the palate. hints of mango and papaya too, tart passion fruit, lemon, and a pinch of acid. about as good as the style can be, and absolutely a much bolder brew than the hallertau blanc edition, which seemed almost flavorless after how intense this one is one the hops. rock solid saison right here, maybe the best one in denver...
