An all malt beer. Do I need to go on? 6.4 ABV I guess is the sticking point. Spain is starting to catch on slowly to the craft beer thing but bnot quick enough. This beer pouts a light golden into my chalice with some decent rocky head but quickly down to nil. Smell is malty not much else. Tstebis slightly mettlic Malta and some alcohol. Mouthfeel is light Bodied. Overall a below average beer but I guess us drink one more if it was presented tome in a social setting.

330ml can. Stange glass. Deep golden color, crystal clear appearance. Close crown, white froth. Honey, herbal & alcoholic aromas. As expected, it shows cloying flavors & intense alcoholic heat. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Watery texture. Grainy flavor & harsh herbal bitterness linger in long sweety alcoholic finish & aftertaste. Unbalanced.

330 ml. bottle, with label only in the neck. Clear amber colour, pours a big head that last for a while, be careful when serving it.
Smell is mostly from yeast, herbal, and something that reminds me of detergent. In mouth you can feel that, but also some maltiness, caramel and citrus, with a toasted feeling too. Better than the usual Cruzcampo (the one nowadays, it used to be better long ago), but not a great thing.

Served from 33cl bottle into a goblet.

A - Deep golden or very light copper color. Extremely clear. Head is just off-white and fluffy, initially piles high and then fades to a thin layer that persists well. Some lacing on glass.

S - Aroma is not as inviting as the appearance. The primary aroma is soft, grassy noble hops, but these are followed by a sharp, metallic note in the finish. There are few malt and no yeast notes to provide balance.

T - Initial taste is like a standard European lager, with nothing extraordinary in the flavor. Hops are present, but not in forefront. Toward then end of the swallow, some sweet malt roundness comes out, then gets lost again in slightly metallic hops bitterness and carbonic bite from the high carbonation.

M - Medium body. Slightly sticky and mouth-coating. High carbonation. Just a hint of alcohol burn.

O - This is a fairly typical European lager, with not much to recommend it, other than the higher body and alcohol content than usual. It's a decent beer for Spain, but that is not saying much.

330ml bottle poured into a snifter

a: pours a rich and clear amberish gold, lots of carbonation bubbles rushing to the top with a two finger white bubbly head that slowly dissipates to a half finger. decent lacing.

s: malts and graininess, a touch of hops, alcohol sweetness.

t: opens with malts and grains, an alcohol sweetness, little hops balance, metallic finish, alcohol presence noticeable but doesn't detract too much, however, it does give the beer an overly sweet finish that makes it hardly refreshing (this is a lager after all, albeit a bit higher in alc %). high carbonation gives it a decent mouthfeel.

o: decent for Spain, quite boozy and metallic. certainly better than the standard Cruzcampo, but that is expected.

There has been served in her special chilled glass. Beer with golden yellow color, tending to bronze. The foam is fairly compact and creamy, not extraordinary but good.
It is characterized by the massive presence of malt both in the odor that in the flavour side. Despite being quite full thanks to a well-structured body, the beer is dry enough.
Always dominates by the malt in the aftertaste, the alcohol feels too much (also in the taste), while it becomes difficult to find a trace of bitterness.
It 'a more structured and alcoholic than a Cruzcampo standard, but we can't talk to who knows what wonders.
