12 oz clear bottle with a plastic label, the freshness of the brew would indicate that the date on the bottle was a processing date.
Appearance: Pasty big bubbled lace, perfect clarity with a bright yellow straw colour.
Smell: Clean cooked corn, mild solvent alcohol and a hint of grain.
Taste & Mouthfeel: Cooked corn all the way, not in a bad way though. Very grainy with a tight but reserved hop bitterness. The crispness goes a long way in the light body that it has. Finishes semi-dry with some lingering grain.
Notes: Is this the Spanish version of Miller High Life? Not a brew Id go out of my way for but certainly a last resort beer if all else fails.

Cruzcampo, from Spain. In a clear twelve ounce bottle, with clear non-paper labels. Brewed and Bottled by Heineken Espana, hmmm. Pours a perfectly clear gold, that spewed up an impressive head, but one that left the scene as quickly as it came.
The aroma is not bad, lightly malted, without a trace of skunk.
Highly carbonated, vigorous bubble action. Initial taste is very bland, mostly bubbles and water. Leaves a light corn adjunct taste at the end, and some perfumy sweetness as well.
Remarkably light bodied, astonishing tasteless. The beer you'd drink if you were not drinking beer. Bah, better than Corona, but why bother?

Pours gold with a quickly dissipating white head.
Nose shows vegetal and hay notes, along with faint spicy hops.
Similar flavours, mostly sweet hay with some faint cardboard and metallic notes.
Just another generic Euro lager really.

When I openned the bottle I was not impressed by the smell, a strong skunky smell who emerged from the bottle. I didnt expect much as I knew the verdict on that beer, but for the summer at 30c outside, it was refreshing, so it did the job to refresh me. Not a great beer at all, just an average brew with average everything from color, taste etc.. A skunky taste what stays for a while. The head didnt stayed long, well actually the beer in my glass the beer dissapeared right away as for my cousin it stayed for atleast 30min(same glass same condition). Taste like a big macro with no decent flavors nothing particular, smell like a macro. But she was quite cheap and I didnt expected anything special anyway

330ml can. Flute glass. Pale gold color, crystal clear appearance. White froth, brief crown, no lacing. Sugar & malt extract aromas. Cloying sweet upfront followed by floral & earthy bitterness. Light body. Moderate to high carbonation. Watery texture. Sweet/bitter finish. Flat & boring. No off-flavors are shown.

Consumed aboard Delta flight from Madrid, Spain to JFK.
Poured a medium straw hue with a one finger frothy white head. There was decent retention and good lacing.
The smell was dominated by sweet adjunct grain and metal.
The taste consisted of a light corn sweetness, some doughy malts and a subtle floral hop.
The mouthfeel was toward the milkier side of the style.
Overall not something I would try again out of the can.

This brew has a head when poured that is as high as Marge Simpsons hair.
Colour is a nice medium golden hue with light carbonation.
The nose is ever so slight of the skunk.
The taste is fairly well balanced with a slight edge to the malts. There does seem to be a lingering licorice after taste which gives this brew the thumbs down.

Paid $2.99 for a 6pk.
The appearence was a decent lager with small head that doesn't last and absolutely no lacing seen. The aroma was, well.... kinda there but not really.
The taste is mildly ok, but i didn't get any kicks out of it... on par with American macro brews. The mouthfeel kinda works and so does the drinkability... after you've had a few already!
Final Thought: It was worth the price in this case, but it was not much different than the American macro equivalent...

I can smell the skunky grassy malt from about 10 inches away. Body is standard clear gold, not a lot of head, but I think I know where this beer is heading. Smell is malty, grainy, and skunky. Taste is rather unappetizing, swet and grassy, slightly skunked. Another beer that uses it's country of origin as a gimmic. Forgettable.

Pours a good head that leaves some lace, clear golden color. Nose is skunky, taste is skunky and slightly hoppy. Fizz is present. This lager just doesn't make it, has just a little more body than a Corona and that is not saying much. Part of the problem may be the clear bottle. The ABV is 5.0%.

Comes in a clear bottle. Pours a clear yellow color with no head. No discerning aroma at all. The taste is like any other popular macro import, little malt and no hops. There was a dry aftertaste and barely a hint of bitterness. Very bland and uninteresting. I had a tough time drinking one, so drinkability is low.

Long lasting head over a pale golden color body. The smell was slightly citric but mostly skunky. This beer's very sweet but very boring too. The mouthfeel is kind of creamy, thanks to the long lasting head. The taste is grainy and crisp. I guess I could drink several of those, but why would I?

Appearance - pours standard gold with a white fizzy head. Enough bubble streamers help keep a covering and collar.
Aroma - light and grainy, and amazingly with no skunkiness from this clear-bottled beer. Whew, alright!
Taste - clean, grainy taste. Some bitterness at the end, it comes off salty or sour or something. When paired with food, in this case enchiladas, some alcohol and corn flavors come through.
Mouthfeel - crisp and bubbly, finishes clean with a light residue of sourness.
Drinkability - a little peculiar, but more character than many pale lagers, and at $2.99 a sixer, it'll work.

--Poured a golden, straw like color.
--Had a nice head that left quick but still had something at the end. Some slight tracing.
--Smelled like a typical tropical beer, kind of skunky.
I am not sure why beers like this insist on using clear bottles. To me it always seems to leave the beer with a skunky taste and smell. As far as this beer I have had better samples, including A Marca Bavaria. This one probably tastes better sitting on a beach in Spain somewhere!

Spanish beer that could not reconquer the Mexican ground; by their terrible flavor a pseudo american macro lager; is one of the worse Spanish beers than they have arrived at mexico, good to accompany with inlays and spanish tapas, bad for the Mexican food; flavor loaded to malt and hops; 25% recommended.

On holiday in tenerife. Chilled 33cl bottle poured into a wine glass.
A- Golden body with lively beading, gives a solid creamy 2 finger head with an aggressive pour. This reduces quickly to leave some lace and a steady crown.
S- Smell is moderate bitter aroma hops dominating, not much malt note.
T- Gentle hint of malt with a solid hop bite in the finish which lingers well. Its crisp and clean.
M- Moderate carbonation and body.
D- A much better experience than the last time i tried Cruzcampo. Perhaps they get better stuff in Spain ;). Certainly a crisp clean lager with a good hop bite. For me, definitely one of the better Spanish mass produced golden lagers.

330ml bottle, poured into San Miguel glass. Golden colour, two finger head, clear. Smelled yeasty, notes of malt and citrus, not what I expected but nice. Fairly sweet taste, wheaty finish. Mouthfull was normal without too much carbonation. I thought this was decent for what it is, a crisp refreshing lager would go down well on a hot day in Spain.
