Pours a dark brown color. 1/4 inch head of a tan color. Slight retention and slight lacing. Smells of sweet malt, slight spice (sage?), and a hint of roasted malt. Fits the style of an Irish Dry Stout. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with a high carbonation level. There is a noticeable dryness. Tastes of sweet malt, hint of roasted malt, hint of chocolate, hint of vanilla, and slight spice, and citrus. Overall, weak appearance, too carbonation, but average otherwise.

Interesting. Roasty stout but plenty of citrusy lemon presence. Lemon is stronger on the nose. If your eyes were closed when you smelled it, you might expect to taste something different. Definitely drink this one warm.

Aroma is lemon peel, dark/roasted malts and mild bread/dark bread. The flavor is dark/roasted malts, lemon peel, mild chocolate and a slightly sweet/acidic finish.

Growler pour into a ceramic mug shows a tight cream colored 1/2 inch head that dissapates to nothing and leaves no lacing.
Roasted malt, caramel, cereal aroma with citrus on top.
Lemon shines through what I expected to be a heavy thick malt bringing a nice balance.
Medium light mouthfeel that is smooth but dry and a clean finish.
I think I could only have the one.....growler that is.

Taste: dark roasted malts mix with a crisp lemon citrus flavor with a dry clean finish. Mild nose, Very dark brown in color and mostly opaque, with a creamy head of lace. Medium body and the citrus added to the dry stout makes the mouth-feel lighter, one could have several. 18 IBUs
