Paid $1.59 for a 12oz. bottle
The appearence of this was the same as the Yinpu Rice Beer I just drank, heavy dark base with a small white head that lasts for maybe a minute and fades away. No lacing is noticeable in this one. The aroma was a bit above par where malts were screaming from this beer.
Typical porter taste, malty-choco-coffee fun, a little too much roasted malt flavor kind of ruined this beer from the porters I'm used to. The mouthfeel is a little carbonated and decent and the drinkability is also decent, a drinkable beer.
Final Thought: I was disappointed with this since my acquaintance and owner of the liquor store praised it... still pretty good though!
