Pours a very pretty amber with a nice uneven dense head that sticks well to the sides of the glass
Smells of caramel, hops leaf, and wood esters
This is a neat ber because you have a couple of phases to it. Sweet caramel and malt, with wood esters, raw hop leaf, then this odd, soapy flavor -- couldn't pin it down until I read some of the reviews -- Zadok said it had a wine flavor -- there it is! Nailed it. Oaky, oily, sweet. And that is something that leaves me a bit on the fence for like/dislike.
Mouthfeel leads into drinkability. Nothing overpowering here. Bought a 6-er and I might be regretting it. Moderate carbonation , nothing great for aftertaste -- bitterness at best.
Overall, not bad -- just not doing it for me. So many times people say that there are bette things out ther. I agree. I gues taste is all in the mouth. I need something more out of this style.

Nitro bottle, Best By 05/08/14
L - very rigorous pour, as indicated on cap and label, reveals a copper colored ale with a smooth ivory head that eventually rises to half a finger
S - very herbal aroma, caramel, vanilla and bread are all faintly present
T - bread, caramel, vanilla, herbal hop,
F - extra smooth feel, medium body, goes down easily
O - I'm not sure which I prefer (regular Sawtooth or Nitro Sawtooth), but this one is definitely unique. Glad to try it.
