Pours a nice looking amber colour, with a wet off white head that lasts lacing the glass as it passes.
The smell is kind of weak. It's mostly a malty nose, with almost a grassiness underneath it.
The tongue is less hoppy than I had expected, as I notice mostly a bready/honey malt with a little bit of piney hop in there to balance it.
Has good carbonation and decent body.
Overall it's not bad, it just doesn't really jump out at me. I was surprised to find it was my fourth favourite beer out of the four flavour Mountain Mixer/sampler pack. Left Hand are a very talented brewery, and this is a well made beer, it just left me underwhelmed.
