Poured from a bottle into a 12 oz. pint glass, it's a clear copper color with a modest off-white head. Very bubbly in the glass.
I really like the aroma a lot, it's very hoppy for the style with a solid malt base. I like the European hop feel to it a good bit and think this aspect is really well done.
The taste isn't quite as special. The hops are front and center with some floral notes and they give way to a little bit of dark fruit. It's just not as complex and interesting as the nose.
I like the mouthfeel, creamy for 5.3% and easy to drink.
Pretty solid beer.
