12oz bottle dated 3/14/07. Pours a slightly cloudy light brown color flared wtih gold. White head is creamy and robust, slowly receding into pockets of foam.
Smell is nicley spiced and malty, along with citrus and herby notes. Taste is at first malty, slightly creamy, then the hops really burst onto the scene, slightly piney, then drying a bit on the finish, that grows a tad grain-sweet.
Medium bodied brew with excellent carbonation, and very drinkable. Pretty complex and well balanced. Solid

Pours a clear copper with a modest cream head that lingers as a thin layer of foam.
Toasted malt, tea-like herbal and floral hops, and a touch of caramel form the aroma.
Flavor is fairly sweet and caramelly. The finish is grassy, lightly resiny and bitter, with a slight citrus character.
Body and carbonation are moderate.
Well balanced apa. I like the hint of citrus, but wish it were more prevalent.
