12oz bottle with a bottled on date of 8/19/07. It pours a rich golden color with bronze overtones. It has a sticky white head with decent retention.
Ginger dominated the aroma of course, along with notes of citrus and other more ambiguous spices. Ginger is also the predominant element in the flavor profile, accompanied by bright citrus fruitiness, along with understated malt, some berry, and a slight nutty hoppiness on the finish, as along with that piquant ginger sizzle.
It's light-bodied and displays some decent complexity. It possesses ample carbonation and is bright and lively on the tongue. It's very drinkable and refreshing. It's very solid for the style.
