Pours out golden yellow and sits a foggy golden amber in the glass with a large soapy white head, fizzling down to light skim, some lacing.
Strong aroma of fresh ginger (no way...), and a mildly sweet caramel infused malt background.
Tastes mildly sweet up front with some loose ginger flavors, but picks up a bit more character along the way. Light pepper blends with white apple flesh. Moderately bitter finish holds some grassy notes.
Crisp and refreshing in the mouth with moderate carbonation and a medium body. A spicy kick for a hot summer afternoon, this makes for a great mid-day brew. Flavor is well rounded and not weighted down with ginger, very simple but works well.
