Is this champagne? Poured into a flute, it's to figure out at first glance. Clear, pale yellow color body with a thin, white ring around the top. Considering the lack of head, there is decent lacing. Nice stream of bubbly.
Leaves a lot to be desired.. Faint citrus zest, mild earthy hop notes, and damp hay. Light spicing.
Follows the aroma closely, thankfully more character is present. Clean, grassy hops hit up front followed by lemon peel and pepper with other spices that I'm unable to identify. Rides a fine line between bitter and sweet. Well done!
Fairly light body and pleasant carbonation, although I'd like more. Semi-sweet finish with a spiced aftertaste.
I found myself enjoying this one considerably! It's light enough to enjoy multiple in one sitting, yet packs enough flavor to keep you interested, only if just. Definitely worth consideration.
