Lemon yellow color and slightly hazy. Nearly a two fingered head with solid lace patches. Head coats the beer like whipped cream on lemon meringue pie.
Fresh citrus fruits, piney hops and wheat in the nose. Very inviting.
Robust hop flavor with fresh squeezed lemons and pine needles. Just a hint of yeast flavor, different but not bad and actually adds depth. Fresh baked wheat bread malt flavor for a smooth foundation. Very well rounded.
Medium bodied. Lively carbonation. Dry, crisp finish from the hops.
This is some tasty stuff. They broke the mold when they made this pilsner but it works very well. Complex flavor yet crisp and clean. Brilliant.
