Clear, one tick more amber than straw. Frothy white head is here and gone in a hurry.
Grassy-spicy smell mixed with some pine sap and candy sugar sweet aroma.
Earthy flavors of grassy hop bitterness balanced with a caramel and candy sugar sweetness. Underwhelming flavor, subdued. Pleasant enough. A lingering grassy bitterness disappears a wee too quickly.
It's a smooth, light-bodied pils.
Maybe it's me, but Left Hand brews always leave me wanting a bit more flavor. This one is unoffensive and pleasant enough, and I wouldn't have a problem recommending it to those who aren't quite ready for full-figured beers.
