A: Beautiful clear pale golden yellow with two-finger fluffy white head that fades to a nice thin layer that leaves great lace.
S: Sweet German biscuity malt with notes of spicy noble hops in just the perfect balance.
T: Amazing! There is a crisp up-front sweetness that is balanced right at mid-palate by the kiss (rather than bite) of the hops. The finish and aftertaste are wonderfully bitter and have the (correct) lager metal-like overtones.
M: A near-perfect summer beer. The carbonation features small bubbles, and the crispness brings back last year's trip to Germany, without the massive travel expense.
O: Living near eastern PA, home of some of the best American-brewed pilseners, I was surprised and very pleased at this entry from Colorado. Siriusly good.
