Poured from bottle into an imperial pint. Bottled 08/05/2010.
A: Light straw with gold hues, and a foamy white head with very good retention. Active carbonation.
S: Grassy hops, malt, and warm citrus.
T: Bitter hops with a strong malt presence. Very nicely balanced. A refreshing citrus flavor that doesn't take away from either the hops or malt. Very light grapefruit or orange flavor. Balanced wonderfully.
M: Light-bodied, slightly watery, nice zestiness from the carbonation and hops.
O: Seems like a great pilsener to me, though I'm no expert on the style. A great hops selection balanced with a nice malt profile and some interesting citrus flavors going on. Reviewed from one bottle out of a mix and match pack, I'd go back and grab a sixer of this, especially in the summer.
