This is my favorite summertime brew. Light, crisp and smooth with a banana nose and a clove finish. This brew is fantastic on tap but like most beers, it looses something when it goes into a bottle. When pouring from a bottle, you need to roll the bottle on it's side for a few minutes to get the yeast that has settled in the bottom to mix back up it's the yeast that gives this true German hefeweizen its wonderful taste and aroma. If you ever get a chance to get this amazing beer on tap, order one and you wont be disappointed.

It's about a medium yellow-gold in color and pretty clear. There may be a touch of haziness but it's not close to cloudy by any means. A small white head grows to just under a finger tall and diminishes in time to a solid foam that leaves spotty lacing.
The smell offers what I expect from a wheat, though rather than being plainly American it seems to have a lot in common with a hefeweizen; that is, the Belgian yeast strain. The nose gives up the banana, clove and bubble gum along with a bit of dustiness I would expect not from a purely American offering but a Belgian.
The taste follows suit but is a little weaker somehow. It seems to fade off at some point. it's also different in that it's fruitier and tangier than the aroma, not letting things mingle nicely but sort of mashing it all together. It's not bad, just unfinished.
I don't expect a big body, but it could have a little more to it. the carbonation's at a good level but the crispness goes spritzy, but it works fairly well and there's a nice smoothness there too.
