A: Pours a dark orange/copper color with a fairly creamy head that deposits some frothy rings of lace. Nice retention over the top. Color isn't as vibrant as other examples of the style I've had, but it looks decent.
S: Aroma showcases some floral notes and light fruity esters. Sweet almost caramel like malt presence melds with the familiar earthy, deep notes of Munich malt. It's a bit unconventional, but it smells good!
T&M: Too hoppy for a marzen. Not as much of that earthy Munich malt bite. The front end is a bit too sweet. Nice caramel malty flavors and a small dose of earthiness, but there's too much latent floral hop flavor in here. Body is medium/full with a zesty carbonation that fits the style well.
D: Too sweet and hoppy to be truly sessionable. A decent marzen, but there's several others that are better, in my opinion.
