Poured from bottle into Pint glass
A- Brown out of the bottle quickly transforms to a very very dark brown. The bottom of the glass appears to take on a certain reddish quality. A nut coloured head settles at the top that forms a ring around the glass with large bubbled islands in the center. Disappointingly there is no lacing.
S- Milk, malt, and coffee are quite evident. It smells thick and rich.
T- Thick and creamy. Malt, chocolate, coffee. Honestly very much like an alcoholic chocolate milk. Quite tasty.
M- Once again, smooth, thick, creamy. The cream really lingers after the finish almost coating the tongue leaving a certain quality of sweetness as one inhales after each sip.
D- This beer has a very strong warming quality. A very nice stout that carries itself well with bold flavour and complexity.
